AI Trailblazers Summit Highlights
Plus a special Cannes update and a new Marketing with AI book translation
I'm pleased to share that a new French translation of Marketing with AI for Dummies is now available, just in time for the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity. The French edition can be purchased on Amazon France or at bookstores throughout the country.
In addition to the original English version and the newly released French translation, Portuguese and Bulgarian editions are also available and are being sold across Europe and South America.
Meet me at the Cannes Creativity Festival!
Speaking of which, I'll be at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity this week and am excited to take the stage with May Habib, Leanne Fremar, Mark Howard and Justin Wexler during the AI Innovation Breakfast at the Plage 3C Ventures on Wednesday morning.
I’ll also be speaking at Horizon Media's From Funnel to Frenzy programming with Google, Claritas, and others on Tuesday, and joining Transmission at Le Speakeasy Cannes for a conversation on B2B marketing immediately following will.i.am's session.
But probably most exciting, I will also be co-hosting an AI Trailblazers Private Reception to honor the AI Trailblazers Power 100 with Greg, Amit and ADWEEK on Thursday evening. The honorees represent a distinguished group of marketing, media, and technology trailblazers who are redefining what’s possible with applied AI in business today. Request your invitation here.
Special thanks to Douglas Rozen and Cadent for their partnership in making this happen. Ping me for details and see you on the Croisette!
AI Trailblazers Summer Summit Recap
I recently co-hosted the AI Trailblazers Summer Summit in New York. This year’s theme, “From Hype to Hands-On: AI in the Real World,” spotlighted how industry leaders are moving beyond speculation to real-world impact. View the agenda and speaker list. It was an incredible day thanks to our speakers, our guests and the team.
Several moments stood out. Interviewing Mark Nelsen, Visa’s Chief Consumer Products Officer, on the just launched Visa Intelligent Commerce, was a highlight. The platform enables AI agents to find and buy, transforming global commerce for merchants, banks, and consumers alike.
Michael Kassan’s interview with Michael Lacorazza, CMO of US Bank, offered a candid look at how AI is changing marketing at a leading financial institution. The CMO panel with the likes of Michelle Froah, Alicia Parker, Andrew Tweed, and Katie Deighton served as a masterclass in how every brand should be approaching the AI era offering clear, actionable strategies.
Another standout session was the Vibe Shift: Marketing at the Speed of AI panel, where MiQ's newly announced AI-powered ad platform, launched just the previous day was demoed. It aims to unify fragmented data and reshape how online advertising is planned, bought, and optimized. Moderating this discussion that included leaders like Domenic Venuto, JiYoung Kim, Erin Madorsky and Joshua Palau, who influence tens of billions in ad spend, surfaced invaluable insights on AI’s impact on the media ecosystem.
In a dynamic CEO & CTO session with Andy MacMillan and Rajeev Rai, we explored how AI is reshaping product innovation, operating models, and business value—grounded in lessons from companies already leading the way.
I also framed both the opportunities and challenges of the emerging Answer Economy in a keynote talk and conversation with Pete Blackshaw of Brandrank.ai.
The day closed with an inspiring call to action: as we embrace the power of Agentic AI, we must keep human agency and the potential for AI to transform companies at the center. On stage, Steven Wolfe Pereira, Greg Kahn, Amit Shah, Shelly Palmer, and I explored what this AI-driven future means for business.
Grateful to everyone who joined us for these pivotal conversations especially many of the AI Trailblazers Power 100 Honorees. The energy was contagious, and I am more inspired than ever. Let's discuss more in Cannes where I'll be giving three separate talks.
Special thank you to our wonderful partners Google Cloud, MiQ, Horizon Media and Veritone who helped make this an unforgettable day.
Guests included attendees from Adobe, Amazon, Axios, Barclays, Bloomberg, Cisco, Citibank, Comcast Ventures, Diageo, Insight Partners, MasterCard, Mondelez International, Morgan Stanley, Nextdoor, PepsiCo, Publicis Groupe, Salesforce, Skadden, Tik Tok, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Uber, Unilever, the United Nations, among others.
